Garland me with blossoms from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil,
I’ll plant you a garden,
Not guarded by angels’ fiery swords, but open,
Where all fruit may be freely eaten.
You be the serpent, and I the new Eve.
In the shade of a new Tree of Life we’ll cleave.
