We weren't created to forever weep.
Although we seem perpetually
To mourn.
There lives within enough souls,
Visions sweet;
To weather through the tempest's
Quake and storm...
Although our troubled rearing
Lays us low,
Our eyes shoot skyward—
Dreams we must fulfill.
And we shall surely triumph when it’s meet;
And gladly,
Shall we bide our time until.

Yes, it seems like forever when enmeshed in the web of deepest grief, and at times in my life I could see no exit from the tears, but then, inexplicably, life/soul/God moved me into a different place in which healing and joy were possible again.
