The "Crowded House" show dragged on for 3 and a half hours.
THE REST OF IT GOES HERE
Turned On
The moon’s blue cadaverous ass makes me happy
After all the show’s out and I’m free to smoke
Unclenching one by one the knotted honesties
From the mono-mask of service I’m forced to don
Like bugs to light the people swarm to the noise
I walk past faces and noises, not looking to stars
Because no one’s done that here in a hundred years
In this machine heaven I rush home to turn one on.

three and a half hours? who the hell do they think they are, bruce springsteen and the e street band?
do they even have three and a half hours worth of material?
Remember that song from the 90s
"Hey now"? That's the only one I knew. Worse, the warm up acts were 2 singers from Crowded House doing solo stuff. Lots of hot groupies though, and one drunk hottie slipped me a $20 after I escorted her drunken ass down the aisle.
correction: 80s
and they did have two hits as I recall. the impossibly saccharine "something so strong" was the other one. so that justifies 3.5 hours, right?
might wanna get you're teeth checked for cavities is all I'm sayin'.
