Writers Club Internationale: Fascist Policies

[open source]

-there will be no editing of other peoples entries, except where they violate our fascist policies.

-editing anothers piece for spelling and/or grammar is allowed. however, if you are unsure (for example, if it may be an intentional misspelling or gramatical error) it is probably best to leave it be.

-postings containing the phrase "[open source]" at the top of the document (brackets included) are editable by any member, including major edits that extend beyond mere spelling and grammar, and any member can add or subtract from the piece as he or she sees fit.

-under no circumstances are you to put "[open source]" on a post that you did not create. that is the original authors perogative, and theirs alone.

-there will be no casual posting of your daily minutiae, that is what your regular blog is for. the WCI is strictly for posts of literary intent and or interest.

-there will be no linking to funny/interesting/shocking/newsworthy articles, videos websites or images. again, this site is for posts of a literary variety, so there should really be little to no reason to post links.

-exceptions can be made for special circumstances (such as if a member wishes to post news of his or her brand new publishing contract), but must be reviewed.

-no direct insults to other members in the content of your posts or comments unless in jest. and if making insults in jest, please be aware of the limitations of the written word as it pertains to sarcasm and other forms more easily expressed through vocal media.

-all members have admin powers, but we reserve the right to strip those powers from any member should they violate our fascist policies and demonstrate a likelihood of doing it again.

-bans will only occur in the event of more serious infractions than we care to think about at this time.
